The circle of the companies that have joined Estonian Logistics Cluster is expanding, at the last leading group meeting this year it was decided to approve CF&S Estonia AS and Navirail OÜ as new members of the Cluster.

Kuno Väin, CEO of CF&S Estonia, believes that joining the Cluster will help the company operate even more actively in sales and marketing in all the regions in which the company is interested.

"Being a Cluster member, it is notably easier to get "on the picture" in order to advertise Estonia as a safe transit corridor with all ancillary services provided", said Väin.

The contribution of CF&S to the different services of the Cluster members include, among other things, project and oversize cargo transport by CF&S's own special rolling stock on all railways with the rail gauge of 1520 mm, representing China Shipping Company in Estonia and representing China Shipping Logistics in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

According to Riivo Sinijärv, CEO of Navirail, the company is willing to introduce and develop, within the framework of joint activities in the Cluster, the transit channel created within the EU from Finland through Estonia to Central Europe and back by linking sea and railway transport.

"Our goal is to advertise more widely the transit channel passing Estonia from the north to the south to other markets and to increase the export of respective services. I believe that as a result of the joint activity in the Cluster we will find necessary new contacts with potential manufacturers and clients", said Sinijärv.

Estonian Logistics Cluster is a joint project focusing on international marketing of its members, advertising of the logistical advantages of Estonia in the target markets, product development involving available resources, logistics education issues and company cooperation in the IT field.
